I still remember when last year I introduced to you guys a nice video in plain English explaining the wonder of Web 2.0. The main idea behind Web 2.0 is that the average user is able to benefit of a series of services without buying or using any software. As a matter of fact, Web applications, directly downloaded to your PC while opening certain websites let you create and modify documents, pictures, videos etc. Other Web applications instead let you add your own content through blogs or sites like Flickr, YouTube, Digg and share it with millions of other users. But then, what is Web 3.0?

According to Wikipedia: “Web 3.0 is a term that is used to describe various evolution of Web usage and interaction along several separate paths. These include transforming the Web into a database, a move towards making content accessible by multiple non-browser applications, the leveraging of artificial intelligence technologies, the Semantic web, the Geospatial Web, or the 3D web.” If this definition is too tricky for you, watch these presentations in plain English and understand in simple words the meaning of the next revolution which will change the face of Internet forever.
